It also shares piccies from centres so you can see who has benefited from your help! Knit for Kids donates handmade sweaters to needy children around the world. Comfort for Critters : Like the Snuggles Project, this organization collects knitted and crocheted blankets and distributes them to animal shelters to help keep homeless animals warm and comforted. Knit for Kids was started in 1996 by readers of Guideposts magazine. Don't forget that there are also many local charities that accept crochet donations. Wildlife Rescue Nests is a NON-PROFIT project, all nests are made by WRN volunteers and donated to wildlife rehabilitators around the world. Shelters United is a 800+ strong cooperative buying program exclusively for nonprofit animal welfare organizations (AWOs).We are a program from Institute for Nonprofit Excellence (INPEx), a team of animal lovers dedicated to helping the awesome people that save animals since 1981, and our national distributor partner MWI Animal Health.
